The majority of guests arrived by coach and were soon followed by the bridesmaids and shortly after the bride arrived. Louise looked stunning in her dress from Wedding Time in Dorchester. With a few arrival shots taken the rain started and Louise and the bridesmaids took cover in the church lobby.
Matt and Louise left the church in the dry but within minutes there was another shower and they returned to the lobby for cover. A quick decision was made to abandon the group photos at the church and head for the reception at The Chine where hopefully it would be dry.
The guests enjoyed a welcome drink and were then invited into the garden for the formal photos. No sooner did they get there we had another shower but within a few minutes it stopped and we managed to carry on.
We then had a short time with the bridal party before being left with Matt and Louise for a their special photos in the lower garden.
The wedding breakfast followed with the cutting of the cake, which was made by Janet, the groom's mother. With the champagne poured it was time for the speeches.
The evening started with the Bride and Groom's first dance. the guests were wowed with their choreographed dance and they only had one lesson at Dance Crazy!
Although the weather forecast was wrong and we had plenty of showers the day finished with a beautiful rainbow overhead.
We would like to wish Matt and Louise all the very best for their future together and hope that they are enjoying their honeymoon across the pond.
We would also like to thank everyone for their kind hospitality and in particular Margaret & Bob (Louise's parents), Janet and Mike (Matt's parents) and James the Best Man for his help and assistance.
