Paul and Louise's Wedding 17th July 2010

We took a short trip across town to the Marriott Highcliff to find Louise in a suite overlooking the sea with her bridesmaids and the preparations well under way.

The weather in the week leading up to the wedding hadn't been great with grey skies and rain but it had broken just in time for Paul and Louise's wedding. It was now bright and warm with a lovely blue sky although a touch breezy.

After capturing the girls preparations we headed off to the gardens with Paul, his three best men and the ushers who all looked really smart in their suits. Paul headed off to see the registrar and we returned to Louise to capture those last minute preparations.

The girls entered a crowded ceremony room with perfect timing. The youngest bridesmaids scattered petals down the aisle and everyone turned for Louise's entrance.

With the formalities over and just before the couple took their first steps as husband and wife the guests were treated to an unusual version of 'all you need is love' by Clare Manners and friends.

A drinks reception in the gardens was followed by the formal group photographs. We spent some time with the couple at the far end of the garden overlooking the sea before they headed off to greet their guests to the wedding breakfast.

Paul and Louise were keen to have some photographs on the beach and with the wedding breakfast and speeches over we headed off for some special time with them. We welcomed the cool air, it was quite breezy by this time which added some great drama to some of the images.

Louise and Paul had a short while to freshen up and put on their dancing shoes before their evening guests arrived.

The evening started with a Rat Pack tribute act to which the couple performed their first dance, which was very impressive before going into a disco and then to a Robbie Williams tribute. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening - a great success.

Paul and Louise put a lot into their wedding, the organisation and planning was impeccable and it paid off.

We hope you enjoy these few images that we have chosen and we've got just a few more to show Paul and Louise on their return from honeymoon.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Paul and Louise for their hospitality and making us feel welcome and for the co-operation and friendliness of everyone at the wedding.

We wish Paul, Louise and their family all the very best for their future together.

Pete and Nicola's Wedding 3rd July 2010

Another beautiful Summer's day with a slight breeze which helped to keep the temperature down and a little more comfortable than of late.

Pete and Nicola were to be married at Wimborne Minster, a traditional parish church steeped in history and very popular with visitors to the town.

As Pete and Nicola left the church as man and wife they were greeted by a chimney sweep. An old British tradition is to have a chimney sweep present at the wedding for good luck. Pete's parents arranged this, a tradition that they have adopted for their family. There must be some truth in this superstition as they have now been married for 45 years.

The reception was held at the Sandbanks Hotel where a drinks reception was held for the guests while they enjoyed the views towards Bournemouth in the east and Old Harry rocks to the west.

While we were waiting for the speeches to begin after the wedding breakfast we noticed a guest that was either very famous and didn't want to be recognised or was very camera shy using a serviette to disguise his identity!!!!!!!!!!!!

While the room was prepared for the evening we spent some time on the beach with the bridal party. The beach had cleared by this time and the sea breeze was most welcome.

We would like to thank both families for their hospitality and friendliness, we were made to feel very welcome.

Pete and Nicola are enjoying the start of their honeymoon in Kenya before moving on to Mauritius. We look forward to seeing them on return from their honeymoon and wish them all the very best for their future together.

Lovely - looking forward to seeing the rest of them.

Steve and Jasmine's Wedding 30th June 2010

......and it's still not raining!!!!!!!!!

Jazz was getting ready at Steve's parent's home which is where we met her having her hair done by Sam and make-up by Kate.

The house was full of dresses, flowers, shoes and girls as there were 6 bridesmaids . The colour theme was black and hot pink which worked really well.

We set off for Parley Manor after having a short time with the Bride to meet the Groom, Best man and ushers. The guys all looked dashing in their suits.

Ashton wasn't only a pageboy but custodian of the rings. As he wasn't quite walking unaided, his walker had been customised and decorated in the wedding colours with a little pouch to hold the rings. He caused a few heads to turn as he walked down the aisle ahead of the bridal party. He looked so cute!!

With the ceremony over and the formal group photos completed the guests were left to enjoy a drink while we spent some time with the bridal party before being left with just the Bride and Groom. As it was really hot we had decided to split the Bride and Groom photos into two sessions. It would be a little cooler after the wedding breakfast and while the room was being turned around for the evening we could spend a little more time with them.

The wedding breakfast was a roast hog which was really delicious, we sat outside to eat with the videographer and caught up with events since our last meeting.

After the speeches we spent some time with the bridesmaids who were now well into wanting their photographs taken, a glass of wine or two may have helped. We had great fun with them.

A wander around the beautiful grounds with the Bride and Groom left us with only the first dance to cover. Parley Manor has some great areas for Bride and Groom photographs. It was cooler now and the lighting was perfect. The guests were treated to a top Bournemouth DJ, Mike Artwell who got the evening underway with the first dance. If anyone can pack a floor he can!

We would like to thank the ushers and bridesmaids for their help and friendliness and take this opportunity to not only thank the best man but wish him all the best for his forthcoming wedding.

We wish Steve and Jazz all the very best for their future together and look forward to seeing them soon.

Garry & Tracy's Wedding 26th June 2010

Well, it's still not raining!!

We had wall to wall sunshine again and I'm sure it's getting hotter.

Another glorious day as we set off to meet Tracy getting ready at her sister Debbie's house. The flowers were being delivered as we arrived and Debbie greeted us and made us feel at home straight away.

Hair and make-up was well underway, Debbie was cooking breakfast and we were photographing the dresses, shoes, flowers and so on. The girls had their breakfast in the garden before coming in to get their dresses on. Everything was going to plan and on time.

We left the girls to their final touches and set off for The Guildhall Poole to meet the guys. We found them with drink in hand and looking really smart.
in their suits from Posh Togs.

The bridesmaids looked amazing in their stunning orange coloured dresses, the perfect colour for this time of the year and the flowers matched them perfectly. Tracy's dress (from The Bridal Room at Posh Togs) was so elegant and the flower girls looked really sweet.

Garry and Tracy always wanted their wedding to be enjoyed by their guests and not too formal and they certainly achieved it. There was so much happiness and laughter which shows through all of their photos.

With the ceremony over and the confetti thrown everyone boarded a big red bus for a short trip to Upton House for photographs. The children were singing and laughing, not only did we hear 'the wheels on the bus go round and round' but we also heard 'jingle bells'!!!

After the group photos the guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the park while we wandered off for some time alone with the Bride and Groom before catching the bus back to Poole. This time the adults were in 'fine' voice  with a few songs including American Pie and Summer Holiday.

We left Tracy and Garry at The Antelope for their wedding breakfast.
We wish them all the very best and hope that their marriage is full of laughter just as their wedding day was and we look forward to seeing them again soon.

We are pleased to announce that the photo's from Garry and Tracy's wedding are now online in our new client area.
