Paul & Emma's Wedding 22nd May 2010

It was going to be a glorious hot day, it seems that Summer may have finally arrived.

We found Emma with preparations well underway, everything was well organised and under control. Emma wasn't nervous or stressed and we could tell that she was going to enjoy her big day.

We left Emma with time for some final preparations and a glass of bubbly to meet the guys at Compton Acres where the ceremony was to be held.

After capturing some images of the groom, best man and ushers we awaited the arrival of the bride.

Emma was so excited she couldn't wait to be married to Paul! Her excitement showed as the registrar pronounced them Husband and Wife

A drinks reception followed in the gardens while we took the group photographs before the guests headed off to the reception at The Highcliffe Marriott. As the guests departed we headed off to the Japanese Garden for some time alone with the newly married couple.

The guests enjoyed a second drinks reception at the Hotel while they awaited the arrival of the Bride and Groom and got to enjoy some fantastic sunshine and sea views.

The wedding breakfast and speeches followed and the guests were treated to unusual favours - wine made by the Groom, a nice personal touch and I'm sure very much appreciated.

Emma was now ready for some more fun and wanted to go for a ride on the Carousel at Pier Approach.Paul and Emma were joined by quite a few friends for the fair ride. There was so much joy and laughter.

We diverted to the beach for a few more moments alone with the couple before returning to the hotel to greet the evening guests.

The evening celebrations started with the couple's first dance which had been choreographed by Martin and Jacqueline from Aspects of Dance.

We wish Paul and Emma a lifetime of love, joy and laughter and look forward to seeing them again on return from their honeymoon.

Thank you so much for everything that you did for us on 22nd May, we had such an amazing day. I think that your advice was pivotal to our plan for the day and because we knew exactly where we and everybody else needed to be, we had no stress or worry, it was so much fun!!

Sean & Leonie's Wedding 8th May 2010

The forecast for today was rain and as we pulled up outside Bride's home it started, there was still plenty of time before the ceremony for it to clear.
Inside the girls were well into their preparations with hair and makeup, the flowers arrived and things began to gather momentum.
We did our usual shots of shoes, dress, jewellery, flowers....
Leonie was soon in her dress and we even managed a few photos outside.

The ceremony and reception was held at the Miramar Hotel in Bournemouth. Straight after the ceremony the newly married couple went off for a quick drive in the vintage car that Leonie had travelled in to the ceremony. As they pulled away Sean popped the cork on a bottle of champagne.

During the time that they were away it was raining and just as they returned it stopped so we were able to spend the rest of the time before the wedding breakfast outside.

With the group photos done we arranged for the couple to be showered in confetti by their guests. The guests returned to the hotel lounge while we had some time with the Bride and Groom.

The wedding breakfast followed, we had been invited to join the guests for the meal. We joined some friends of the couple who made us feel very welcome. The food and wine was excellent.

Following the speeches everyone was invited to join Sean and Leonie outside.
Sean blindfolded his wife and escorted her out to a surprise that he had arranged. He had bought Leonie a car which was decorated with ribbon and handed her the keys as he took the blindfold away.

While the guests waited for the evening to start they were entertained by Steve the magician. Steve is a lively character and did some amazing tricks, we particularly enjoyed the fireball.

Soon the evening was underway and another surprise arranged by Sean for Leonie was the chocolate fountain which everyone got to enjoy after the first dance and the first taste at the chocolate fountain by the happy couple.

We wish Sean and Leonie all the very best for their future life together and look forward to seeing them on their return from honeymoon in Cuba.

Steve & Jenny's Wedding 29th April 2010

Our second visit to Parley Manor in less than a week.

We had met Steve the groom when he was an usher at his sister's wedding a couple of years ago. It was nice to see some familiar faces and to catch up with Laura & James whose wedding we had photographed.

Rain was forecast for today and as we headed for Parley Manor the skies were grey and there were a few drops of rain. However by the time Jenny arrived it had stopped.

After the ceremony it was decided that after a quick drink we would get on with the photography just in case the weather turned against us. The gardens at Parley Manor are so nice that it would have been a shame not to use them and be forced inside due to rain.

The bride and groom had arranged for a bouncy castle which the children thoroughly enjoyed, so did some of the adults!

Steve and Jenny's son Jack did some plane spotting and pointed each one out in turn saying that they were big and noisy! It was about the only time that he stood still for us to sneak a photo of him!

After the wedding breakfast and as the weather was holding out we took a few more photos with the bridesmaids, flower girls and the bride and groom before the evenings entertainment started with a disco and casino.

We finished the evening with a bit of fun, Jenny had provided a frame and wanted the guests to have their photos taken. Guests were certainly in the party mood by now and joined in the fun. There were some funny faces pulled for these photos!!!

We wish Steve and Jenny all the very best for their future together.
