Craig & Katie's Wedding 12th June 2010

The day started a little overcast but soon turned to glorious sunshine with a slight breeze.

We met Katie at her parents home, hair immaculate and about to start with make-up. While we were photographing the accessories we noticed something on the soles of the shoes and couldn't resist capturing it, the words 'I do', it was different to what you can often see on the grooms shoes 'help me' and we thought a nice touch.

The dress was amazing, Katie had told her friends that she wanted something plain and simple, no lace. no fuss, no sparkle. It had everything she thought that she didn't want! I believe that she tried it on for her Mum who had spotted and they all fell in love with it- Mum's always seem to know best!!

While we were with the bride, Julian our third tog was with the guys capturing their preparations. We knew that Katie had arranged for a red Ferrari to take Craig to the church as a surprise, Craig was impressed and enjoyed his stylish journey to the church.

The ceremony was held at St Georges in Oakdale and was followed by the reception at the Carlton Hotel. While the guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the hotel garden Craig and Katie joined us for some photos on the beach before joining their guests for the wedding breakfast.

The cake was decorated with the same roses that were in the bouquets and  table decorations which were all created by Julia,a friend of the Bride and Groom she even made the cake, a talented lady!

While the guests waited for the first dance they were entertained by a magician and a bet or two on the roulette table.

The couple are honeymooning in Dubai and we look forward to their return.
We wish them all the very best for their future together

Alasdair & Janice's Wedding 31st May 2010

We first met Alasdair and Janice almost a year ago to the day when Alasdair was best man at Martin and our niece Emma's wedding. Martin was Alasdair's best man and was looking forward to the speeches for his sweet taste of revenge!

We started at Alasdair and Janice's home with bridal preparations before a quick trip across the New Forest to Rhinefield House where the ceremony and celebrations were to be held.

The ceremony was held in the Grand Hall, a model replica of London's Westminster Hall and the guests enjoyed a solo by the guitarist during the ceremony.

A drinks reception was held on the lawn in the beautiful gardens of Rhinefield House after which the formal group photos were taken before we headed off with the newly married couple for a few photos around the garden.

The tables were decorated beautifully for the wedding breakfast with Monopoly as the theme. Each floral centrepiece was a playing piece from monopoly and the name places were property cards. Speeches followed the meal and Martin enjoyed his moment to the full with a PowerPoint presentation. Alasdair you took it well.

The evenings entertainment was a traditional Jazz band and Janice invited everyone to join them on the floor to get the dancing off to a fine swing.

We thank Alasdair and Janice for their hospitality and wish them all the very best for their future together.
