Dave & Jenni's Wedding 24th April 2010

Another beautiful spring day.

We started with the bride and bridesmaid's preparations at Jenni's parents home. Hair and make-up was well underway. Kate the makeup artist was a previous bride of ours and it was good to catch up with her. Sam the hair stylist was working alongside Kate, they came up with some outstanding results and the timings were perfect.

We knew that Jenni would be ready on time, in fact she was a few minutes early. This enabled us to make good use of the time with Jenni, her bridesmaids and parents. It was so nice not having to rush.

Dave, his best man and ushers were also being photographed as they were getting ready by our new photographer Julian.

The ceremony and reception were held at Parley Manor. The bride arrived shortly after the bridesmaids and after a few photos by the door we went into the house and waited for the bride (who has to see the registrar) in the conservatory area, this always makes for some nice informal shots of the final preparations.

After the ceremony the guests enjoyed drinks and heart shaped biscuits before the formal group photographs.

We then disappeared with the bridal party for photographs in the walled gardens whilst the guests enjoyed the spring sunshine and time to chat.

We were then left with just Dave and Jenni to capture some lovely shots of the two of them including a few with the E -Type Jaguar before they were announced into the reception room which had been decorated as a race track with flags and bunting, oil cans for the wishing well and tables named after cars. It all looked fantastic

Some guests gathered in the garden in between courses and using the Jenga blocks came up with a rather unusual way of congratulating the couple.

In keeping with the theme of the 50's we couldn't resist getting Jenni to do a Marilyn Munroe kiss!

We get really excited when a couple do more than a shuffle hug for their first dance. Dave and Jenni had learnt to do a Rumba and didn't they do it well! The guests surrounded the dance floor amazed and clapped their appreciation for the couples effort. Dave and Jenni you were absolutely amazing - well done!

We would like to thank Dave, Jenni, their parents and the bridal party for their hospitality, we really enjoyed your wedding and we're looking forward to showing you your wedding photographs.

All the very best for your future together.

Neill & Pauline's Wedding 17th April 2010

The day started at Pauline's parents home in the Purbecks. We arrived to the smell of bacon sandwiches which Dave couldn't resist!

The girls were out having their hair and make-up done so we got on with photographing the dress, shoes, jewellery and so on. Soon the house was buzzing and Pauline was getting into her dress helped by Wendy.

We took advantage of the fantastic garden with the pots and beds of beautiful spring flowers and the orchard and pond area.

We set off for the church St Nicholas in Worth which is such a lovely village church. Here we met the men for some photos before the guests started to arrive. The church quickly filled with guests waiting for Paulines arrival.

Pauline was accompanied down the aisle by her Dad who was giving her away, Wendy the Matron of Honour and Molly her bridesmaid.

The service was soon in full flow and whilst the registers were signed the guests enjoyed Neill's son Josh singing from the balcony.

As the newly married couple left the church they spotted a horse and carriage at the church gate which had been arranged as a surprise for them, Josh and Molly joined the bride and groom in the carriage for a short ride.

Neill and Pauline continued their journey back in the car with a quick stop at Corfe for some photos with the Castle in the background.

The reception was held at The Springfield Hotel where the guests enjoyed a drink on arrival and some glorious afternoon sunshine in the gardens before the wedding breakfast.

We wish Neill and Pauline all the very best for their future life together.

"Thank you Dave and Janice for providing such a professional yet relaxed photographic service. We are having a real problem compiling our album as there are so many 'must have' shots. Two camera shy people were able to relax and enjoy their special day."

Mel & Karen's Wedding 25th March 2010

A small intimate wedding held in St Edwards Chapel in Lady St Marys in Wareham. A beautiful chapel with soft lighting, decorated with flowers with the choir singing at the chapel entrance made this a very memorable occasion.

We met the new vicar for the first time and instantly knew why Mel and Karen felt so at ease with him.

The guests joined Mel and Karen for a meal at the Priory after the ceremony.

We wish Mel and Karen all the very best.
